Harvest& Storage

Potatoes are grown and harvested in Turkey throughout the year, with the main harvest taking place between July and September. However, thanks to advanced storage facilities, Turkish potatoes are available year-round. Cold storage systems ensure that the quality of potatoes is maintained for long periods without spoiling. In recent years, Turkish farmers have adopted more sustainable farming methods, reducing the use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides. Precision farming techniques, including drip irrigation and soil management, have also been implemented to improve water efficiency and crop quality.
